We left from Toronto around 11 am and reached Grand bend at 1:45 pm.
Grand Bend beach is located on the shores of Lake Huron in Southern Ontario. It is about an hour away from London, Ontario and 2.5 hours away from Toronto.
The main street was full of stores, restaurants, and bars and the beach was quite beautiful and not too crowded. The North beach at the end of Main Street in Grand Bend is full of young crowds and South beach is full of families watching the children and grand children run in and out of the water. Colour of the water is the most important feature I consider while choosing my beach vacation. The color of Lake Huron was turquoise green and it looked sparkling against the white sandy shore.
The beach was not too crowded and we were able to put up our umbrella in a private and quiet spot.

After basking in the summer sun for a long time, we pumped up our very own inflatable Raft . Just relaxing on it was the most fun part of this day trip. The beach had lot of fun activities too like Parasailing ($75 per person), Jet Skiing ($35 per person/half an hour) and boat rentals($180 for an hour and carries up to 9 people).
